BEING FRENCH FOR A WEEKEND
with #OtterBoxInsider NickyInsideOut
For May we have celebrated what France is famous for – style, fashion, gastronomy, as well as film with the Cannes Film Festival.
It’s still May and our ode to France isn’t over yet. We are super excited to once again collaborate with Italian digital princess Nicky to give us the downlow on her favourite hotspots in Paris and share her ultimate list of favourite places to visit while in the City of Lights. Nicky is without a doubt one of our favourite bloggers at OtterBox, her style is slick, her iPhone is her everything and she values stylish protection, keeping her phone safe and sound whether she is writing emails, instagramming or blogging, keeping her little one Emma occupied – her lifestyle is busy and OtterBox caters to her needs when it comes to her smartphone!
Paris is without any doubt her all-time favourite city in Europe, and where did she call home for the weekend – A Hotel in Rue La Fayette, Best Western Premier Opera Faubourg, situated in a super central location that couldn’t have been more perfect for her needs. A cute room boasting a beautiful Parisian balcony to enjoy the view.
Her first stop in Paris is of course a good cappuccino (as an Italian, coffee is important to Nicky). Cafe Kitsune is the cutest discovery inside Palais-Royal. It’s not the easiest cafe to find but once you discover it, you will be able to enjoy the setting, overlooking the gorgeous courtyard.
Another parisian must is Laduree. Everything is just perfection , the presentation, the atmosphere, the sweets. We are in heaven!
Another must is dinner at Hotel Costes. Trendy yet traditional and super close to Place Vendôme, with wonderful food, drinks and the best music. No wonder it is the place to be during fashion week!
Since the weather was being kind over the weekend to Nicky, on day 2, she enjoyed an aperitivo sitting outside the terrace of Cafe de Flore. Everything is iconic here and it’s the perfect representation of how you imagine a Parisian cafe and ideal for people watching! It’s a bit of a cliche place if you want, but it has to be experienced and enjoyed.
Last but not least, her very favourite restaurant of this trip was Ralph. The setting is outstanding and the people beyond lovely. Surrounded by green plants and red roses it is the perfect American high society vibe of Ralph Lauren. Be sure to book a table outside and leave it a few hours to enjoy the food, the wine and the vibe!
This was only the first part! Hold your breath until Sunday.. the second episode is coming with more cafes, restaurants and amazing roof terrace views of Paris!
