In our 2nd installment of the Brit Awards 2016 by #OtterBoxInsider Julie Collier, find out what made the night extra special for her. Oh and make sure to follow her on Snapchat (username Julie Collier) for all things stylish and tongue and cheek!
Usually for me the best part of going out is a combination of “the getting ready” and “the getting food on the way home” 🙂 The middle is usually a flurry of traffic, drinks, queues & some DJ’s dodgy choices.
Not last night though……Last night was one of those rare nights where eyeliner goes on evenly at first try, the music is sensational, the show a real spectacle, the heart strings tugged & the chips cheesy! A real success story and it was all down to the lovely people at OtterBox.
Watching something iconic, like the Brits, from home is a powerful thing- being there in person… it’s enchanting! Sitting in the same room as so many musical legends, gazing down at Coldplay chatting and laughing at their table you can’t help but be enthralled.
Howling along to Rihanna & pining after Bieber (wishing you weren’t THE BIGGEST Belieber that ever lived) I was so grateful for my pretty Paris Blush Symmetry Series case. The chances of falling over when you’re watching Rihanna twerk up a storm on Drake are huge (let’s not kid ourselves) so having the guarantee that if/when it all becomes too much and I pass out, landing firmly on my phone, that I’m not going to crush it into smithereens, that kind of peace of mind I like to have!
The Brits with all its power, glory and huge public esteem really moved me when Adele accepted her first reward & took the time to declare her support for a fellow musician and female in crisis right now. To Kesha. Its moments like that, when being there in person is a true gift.
Thank you so so much to Otter Box for having me x
