What attracted you to collaborate with OtterBox on the #StradaFuturePros campaign?

We are in collaboration and already working with a number of international brands such as Braun, Sony, Philips and Panasonic. To collaborate with OtterBox gave us the opportunity to experience something new and expand our global network

Tell us a little about how you came to work in your field of 3D printing?

We have always been very interested in Computer Aided Design. When 3D printing emerged this was the natural next step. Suddenly we were able to design something on the computer, send the 3D data to the printer and hold a physical model in our hands only a few hours later. 3D printing is also intriguing because it is possible to design forms that you couldn’t easily realise in any other way. A good example of our early work is the Fractal Table.

What’s a typical working day for you and your team?

A typical day would look like switching the computers on, reading emails, drinking a coffee while skyping with each other (Berlin – Munich) and starting to work on contract work or experimenting and exploring new ideas on free projects together with all our colleagues.

What excites you most right now about deisgn and 3D printing?

We love 3D printing because it is a very direct and quick way to realise ideas & products. Since 3D printing is evolving rapidly it is only a matter of time that this technology will push into the realm of mass production. We are part of this movement and help to pioneer these new products, forms and ways of using them.

What’s the one item you couldn’t do your job without?
